Highly recommended boat trip from Westminster to Hampton court. Bar on board and light snacks and sandwiches. Commentary was fab. A must do when visiting London. - Annie

A group of us took the Thames River Boats cruise from Kew Pier down to Westminster Pier. This is a brilliant experience and was one of the highlights of our trips to London. Kew Pier is an easy walk from Kew Gardens' Elizabeth Gate. The crew are very friendly and helpful and you get great views along the river as you pass Chiswick, Chelsea and Battersea Power Station, with the trip ending right next to the Houses of Parliament and London Eye at Westminster Pier. We started out our trip up top in the open air for the views but as it got chillier headed down to the bar downstairs where the staff pointed out the sights while we sipped cocktails!
